Our Story
Melk Coffee Co started out in 2022 as a dream to create the best Speciality Coffee experience in the area. I was already a coffee lover and I visited so many cool coffee shops to collate the best and the worst bits so as to create a perfect space to enjoy great coffee. The premises
were secured late 2022 and we opened March 2023. Since then we have formed great partnerships and have grown our customer base year on year. We are a coffee shop first and foremost and we put a lot of passion and energy into how we make our coffee. We aim to be consistent and knowlegable in what we do and to give you, the customer the best experience.
Suppliers
We work hard to keep our coffees seasonal, and constantly change our selection to bring new coffees to our customers. All our beans are single-origin and ethically and sustainably sourced. We are proud to use a LaMarzocco Linea PB espresso machine from Florence.
We also try to work with suppliers who are doing good things, including Wood St for our coffee beans, Pump St (ethically-sourced hot chocolate), Joe's Tea, Prana Chai and Perfect Ted Matcha.
We proudly work with two local bakers Connolly Cakes & Indie Bakes.

We pride ourselves on producing REALLY GOOD COFFEE ethically sourced through a partnership of importers working directly with farmers, and roasted with care in small batches to bring out the best from each process, varietal and region.
