Melk Coffee Co started out in 2022 as a dream to create the best Speciality Coffee experience in the area. I was already a coffee lover and I visited so many cool coffee shops to collate the best and the worst bits so as to create a perfect space to enjoy great coffee. The perises were secured late 2022 and we opened March 2023. Since then we have formed great partnerships and have grown our customer base year on year. We are a coffee shop first and foremost and we put a lot of passion and energy into how we make our coffee. We aim to be consistent and knowlagable in what we do and to give you, the customer the best experience.
We work hard to keep our coffees seasonal, and constantly change our selection to bring new coffees to Peckham. All our beans are single-origin and ethically and sustainably sourced. We are proud to use a Mavam Mach 2 espresso machine from Seattle, one of only a few in the UK.
We also try to work with suppliers who are doing good things, including Mork (ethically-sourced hot chocolate), Good & Proper Tea, Prana Chai, You & I Kombucha, Daily Dose juices (made from wonky veg) and Lemonaid (organic and fair-trade lemonade).
